EYES SET TO KILL The World Outside

Boasting a strange formula of blood-curdling screaming mixed with pitch-perfect, beautifully sung vocal parts, the Arizona, female fronted EYES SET TO KILL is probably the first band of this kind to attract my attention and keep it throughout the entire release. Consisting of sisters Alexia and Anissa (both total hotties!!!), the band combines beautiful melodies with evilness and nice male-female trade-offs in the vocal department to create a brooding sound unlike any I’ve heard before. I mean, this gal can actually sing very well, but she can also shred her vocal chords into fresh ground meat to find a sound that demands to be listened to, if not at least for a song or two just to see what the hell is going to happen amongst this beautiful train wreck. Think EVANESENCE (“The World Outside”) meets ARCH ENEMY (“Heights”) and don’t be surprised to hear a touch of PAPA ROACH (“March Of The Dead”) mixed in-between.

The entire band consists of essentially a bunch of friggin’ kids with a huge passion to just rock the fuck out! They’re extremely talented in both the performance and writing arenas and I sincerely believe this one will see them hitting some major stages touring with some well-known acts in the coming year. While regular readers will know this scribe’s hatred of typical “Female-Fronted” Rock Bands, I stand completely in awe of this group and love every note of this bullet-to-the-head! Rock over to (AMAZON.COM) to hear samples of the album and to purchase it for the low price of $9.99. Very, Very Highly Recommended!!!
