AURORA SKY, ENLISTS BEN GROSSE TO PRODUCE NEW MUSIC!!!

Oklahoma City Rock Act Ready To Release New Music With Grammy Award Winning Producer.
“I’ve loved EVERY album he’s ever worked on!”, exclaims AURORA SKY guitarist and songwriter Chris Shy. In reality, there are hundreds of albums that the producer he is speaking of has been a part of. Ben Grosse has produced and mixed some of the most popular albums from bands like FILTER, FUEL, SEVENDUST, MARILYN MANSON, BREAKING BENJAMIN & many others. “To be associated with him and know I’m going to work in the same room alongside the guy is literally a dream come true for me”, Shy adds.
Chris alongside co-writer and frontmanAndrew “Gambit” West formed AURORA SKY from the ashes of their previous band, Gotham Recording Artists FEAR THE CLOWN. While F.T.C. was much more aggressive and Metal influenced, their knack for penning radio-ready Active Rock led them in the direction of Grammy Nominated producerMichael Raphael in 2007. Raphael produced their 2009 self-titled E.P. (available on Away-Team Music) which yielded two radio singles, “Keeping Me Alive” and “Slowing Me Down”. After a year of promising sales from digital downloads at Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and Napster, the band decided to record more tracks for a new release. “I kind of casually mentioned to our manager, Craig [Stegall], that I thought Ben Grosse was the most amazing producer I had ever heard…I had no idea he’d actually go out and try to contact the guy and make it happen!”, laughs Chris.
With recording scheduled to begin in Ben’s famed The Mix Room Studios in Burbank, California this June, the buzz is building and sure to hit high levels in May when they announce a special guest appearance on the album from one of Rock’s most amazing drummers.
